India: Grievance Officer and appeal
For users in India, the Grievance Officer under rule 3(2) of the IT Rules is Alexander Goytom. Contact: ertalex@hotmail.it. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within the applicable 7-day, 36-hour or 2-hour period.
A person dissatisfied with the decision, or whose complaint is not resolved within the applicable period, may appeal to India's Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days. This route does not limit any other remedy available by law.
If India is your selected legal market and you cancel a profile, NerdScore keeps only its registration information for 180 days after cancellation, as required by rule 3(1)(h) of the IT Rules. The record is encrypted, separate from app features and deleted automatically after that period unless a lawful preservation order applies.
When India is selected as your country or region of residence, creating or using a NerdScore profile requires you to confirm that you are at least 18 years old. NerdScore stores the version, time, selected country or region and this declaration as evidence of acceptance; it does not ask for an identity document or infer age from language, IP address or device location.
For requests made after India is selected as the legal market, NerdScore keeps a minimized technical security log for 180 days. It records the time, request method and route template, response status, client IP address, app distribution, user agent and internal session or profile references, but not request bodies, query strings, access tokens or user content. Each record has an integrity code, is stored with the service in Germany and may be provided to CERT-In when a qualifying cyber incident must be reported or CERT-In lawfully requests it.
