Terms of Service and User Content Rules

These terms govern use of NerdScore Free, including profiles, groups, matches, shared content, and connected features.

Version and acceptance

Version 2.0, effective July 12, 2026. You must accept these terms before creating or uploading content visible to another NerdScore user.

If you do not accept, you may view public pages but cannot use features that create or share content. Acceptance is stored on the device and, on the first later authenticated data change, the server records evidence as described in the Privacy Policy. A material change requires a new acceptance.

Service provider and contact

NerdScore is provided by Alexander Goytom, an individual established in Italy. For support, legal, or privacy requests, email ertalex@hotmail.it.

The current version is free and offers no purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. Professional information required for any future paid offer will be published before that offer is activated.

Age and capacity

NerdScore is not directed to anyone under 16. By using the service, you state that you are at least 16. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, use NerdScore only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who has reviewed these terms. If India is selected as your country or region of residence, you must be at least 18 and confirm this in the app; parental or guardian permission does not replace this India-specific 18+ requirement.

What NerdScore provides

NerdScore is a social scorekeeper for board games. It lets users create profiles and groups, organize games and matches, record scores, calculate statistics and progress, and use random tools and mini-games.

NerdScore is not a gambling service, awards no cash prizes, and does not replace official game rules. Decisions made at the table remain the participants' responsibility.

Private groups and scorekeeping

Use NerdScore to manage board game groups, players, games, matches and scores. Group access does not make every upload lawful: share only content you are allowed to show to those members.

Profiles, codes, and access

NerdScore uses guest sessions, profile codes, group codes, invitations, and PINs instead of a mandatory email account. Keep codes and PINs secure: anyone who obtains a valid code may access the features associated with that link. You are responsible for actions from your device until you report unusual access.

Your content and permissions

User content includes names, photos, group descriptions and images, taunts, nicknames, notes, match data and reports. You are responsible for what you add and for having permission to upload another person's photo or personal data.

NerdScore may remove or restrict content, profiles, groups or access when reasonably needed for safety, abuse handling, legal obligations or store-policy compliance.

Ownership and content license

You retain your rights in content you add. By uploading it, you give NerdScore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license limited to hosting, copying, technically adapting, displaying, and transmitting that content only to operate, protect, and moderate the service.

The license ends when content is deleted, except for temporary backup copies and pseudonymous data needed for shared history or the security and moderation obligations described in the Privacy Policy. You do not give NerdScore the right to sell your photos or use them in advertising.

Prohibited content and behavior

Do not post harassment, bullying, hate, threats, sexual or exploitative content, spam, scams, impersonation, illegal content, child-safety violations or another person's private data. Do not use NerdScore to expose or repeatedly bother anyone.

Reporting and moderation

From the player menu, you can report a player or content they made visible in the group. Give enough context for a fair review and do not use reports to harass others.

Reports are reviewed and can lead to no action, a warning, content removal or access restrictions. The reporter's private details are not shown to the reported player.

Use this form for a formal legal notice about specific content available through NerdScore, or for a general complaint. For ordinary player conduct, use Report in the app; to exercise privacy rights, use Support.

Free version and future Plus

These terms cover the Free version. Some screens may show previews or features labeled as future Plus functionality, but they are not currently a purchase offer and do not create any charge.

Before Plus is activated, NerdScore will publish the price, renewal and cancellation or withdrawal terms, seller information, and purchase conditions required by the store and applicable law. No subscription will start without an explicit user action through an authorized payment channel.

Availability, changes, and suspension

The service is provided with reasonable care but may experience maintenance, updates, slowdowns, or outages. Free features may be changed or discontinued for security, technical sustainability, legal obligations, or product improvement, with advance notice of material changes where reasonably possible.

A profile, device, or group may be suspended or limited for abuse, security risk, breach of these terms, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, context and reports will be reviewed before permanent action.

NerdScore and third-party intellectual property

NerdScore software, interface, brand, text, and original assets remain the property of their respective owners. Game names, images, and trademarks belong to their owners; descriptive use does not imply sponsorship or affiliation. You may not copy, resell, bypass protections, or exploit the service without authorization.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NerdScore is not liable for decisions made at the table, user-provided content, loss of access codes that were not safeguarded, incorrect game rules, or indirect and unforeseeable loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud, gross negligence, and mandatory consumer rights.

If an error puts data or access at risk, contact support promptly. We will use reasonable efforts to restore the service and available backups, but cannot guarantee recovery of every deleted or unsynchronized item.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer in another country, you retain the mandatory rights and courts that the law of your place of residence grants you.

Changes to these terms

The version and date are updated on this page. Material changes are announced in the app and require a new acceptance before you continue creating or sharing content.

Privacy, deletion and contact

The Privacy Policy and Delete data page explain processing, export and deletion. Continued use also requires compliance with applicable law. Contact Support for a removal or policy question.
